Large Victorian Oak Bar Buffet

A magnificent solid English oak Bar/Buffet from the late Victorian period. Purchased by us in the Cotswolds and with possible connections to the historic Bullingdon Cricket Club. Of superb quality and extremely heavy although it does significantly break down to ease transportation and setting up. The sign writing is still in good order, with only minor age related wear. The carvings are superior quality and are very crisp. The cupboard locks are working and with keys. The top surface has been re-polished to take out a number of ring marks and the whole piece is now in super condition. This is a substantial piece of furniture that will look stunning in the right setting either commercially or privately. The Grandfather of the family we purchased this from was a member of the famous club but unfortunately we have to respect that they want to remain anonymous.
