A George the 4th scaled down antique Pembroke table. Made from mahogany and has a dummy leaf to one side and an unusual click mechanism that releases the other leaf to drop down and reveal a storage area inside. This piece was re-polished around sixty years ago and has since collected a few ink marks to the top. Usually we would re-polish it but on this occasion the marks give a little character to the piece and adds to its appeal. All the turned legs are in good sound condition which is rare to see in small, delicate pieces of antique furniture this old. Overall a beautiful piece of Georgian mahogany that would look excellent beside a sofa.
