VICTORIAN GAMES/SEWING TABLE

Very much in the Aesthetic movement manner of design. Circa 1870. This games/sewing table has had a light sympathetic restoration in our workshops. The top has been re polished and the gilt decoration on the ebonized base highlighted. The inner surface to the games table has on or 2 marks under the polish but no serious fractures that are common with these tables.. The base is ebonized Walnut and the top is principally Amboyna with Boxwood and Ebony banding. The whole piece looks quite striking and is ready to use and enjoy..
