ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU WASHSTAND

A very attractive Art Nouveau washstand from the late Victorian period, circa 1895. The fine Mahogany cabinet making has had its finish re vitalised and now looks really well. The striking turquoise tiles are probably by the Minton factory and are quite unusual with the seeded fruits together with foliage and flowers. (They have a light crazing to the glaze only noticeable when close up). The high quality marble top is a mixture of greys, pinks, whites and salmon and is in very good condition. The handles castors and towel rail are all original. Nowadays these washstands are finding many uses around the home and business. Drinks especially. All good to go.
