A top quality solid Oak roll top desk from the Edwardian period. Fully refurbished after a full week in our workshops, where everything has been addressed, including the re backing of the tambour(a major job that 9 out of 10 roll tops need to be done). With fielded panels and a re polish the desk can be positioned off the wall if desired. The pedestal drawers now lock automatically when the tambour is closed. The interior has a range of drawers and pigeon holes and the tooled leather writing surface is a new replacement.. The tambour lock is working and with a spare key. Usually plain, these drawer handles are all nicely carved..
