A solid walnut clerk’s high chair circa 1890. Probably used in the textile industry this chair abounds with character. Of heavy construction all joints are dowelled mortise and tenon, the legs and stretchers have beautiful chamfered edges which give it a greater appeal, as does the extended foot rest. Given it’s age and use this chair is in marvellous condition.
